I did this at my last company and while its nice to have next day support, leading up to the tech coming out is annoying. I like this its easy and don't need to sit with dell support waiting on them to go through the script. If they don't they give me my money back and the hard drive. I buy locally and can bring them in for warranty. Typically I will buy refurbished machines with a warranty. I've worked for many companies where cost really matters.
